Law Enforcement: Marijuana illegality is hardly enforced. If a police officer stops you the usual result is confiscation. Because of the light police presence in this town, police virutaly never respond to complaints unless there is a crime involved, or excessive noise. Creston is a small town so it\'s easy enough to avoid the cops by just heading of on a side road or in an orchard. In the summer the town is flooded with "migrent workers" for the fruit harvest, mostly really cool people from all over Canada, during this time police enforcement of marijuana laws is non-existant. It is not uncommen for people to smoke joints walking down main street.
